Estomba 1636

A series of light projections of architecturally-scaled ‘characters-in-danger’ on buildings all over the city of Buenos Aires. The drawings are sourced from coloring and comic books, and the projections are sized for each specific location. A 3-story tall prince falls down the side of a building, and an image of a little girl gasping engulfs a rooftop balcony. Though these apparitions appear magically, they address the way fears and phantoms haunt our ordinary lives.
